Aziz SALAMEH has a PhD in plant breeding from BOKU/Austria since 2005. Dr. Salameh engaged in different projects related to plant breeding, crops improvement, and genetic relationship including Genotyping, Molecular Breeding, and biotechnology. Aziz has a track record of publications. Aziz evaluated and introduced many improved lines of wheat and Barley to Palestine in cooperation with international organizations (ICARDA and ACSAD).

During his M.Sc study, Dr. Hardan study the Role of Plant Growth Regulators in the Interaction Between Botrytis cinerea and its Host Plants (Tomato, cucumber and bean). In 2005, He published a paper about Ethylene Production by Botrytis cinerea (Causal Organism of Gray Mold Disease) and Influence of the Exogenously Applied Growth Regulators and thier Inhibitor on Disease Development. Over the period from 2001 and 2007, Dr. Hardan worked as a research assistant in Hebron University in the field of Soil and water conservation, plant identification and pasture conservation, cereal landraces, herbarium, gene seed bank, and testing of about 82 varieties of drought tolerance tomatoes. Moreover, He established a biotechnology and molecular lab. For research purposes. After finishing his Ph.D degree in Agriculture from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna, Austria in 2010, Dr. Hardan worked as a lecturer in the Arab American University Jenin. Since Oct. 2022, Dr. Hardan is the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture in Al-Quds Open University and also, he is the Director of the agricultural Research Center in Jordan Valley. Recently Dr. Hardan published a chapter titled: Surface and subsurface irrigation in Date palm farming using smart and precision irrigation Techniques (Case study, Al-Quds Open University) In Book: Promoting Innovation in Research and Education in the Field of Precision Agriculture. Eliva Publisher, March, 2024. Since September, 2021, Dr. Hardan is leading the research in the Agricultural Research Center in Jordan Valley with focus on Date Palm farming, Impact of saline irrigation water on plant growth and productivity of garlic and Turmeric, impact of solar radiation and heat stress on Alo vera plant, and Isolation of Agrobacterium from the saline soil.
